Black Bean Hummus

If you are looking for a healthy recipe you can bring to share at a Super Bowl Party. Try this delicious, healthy Black Bean Hummus


1 can of organic black beans​
1tsp of olive oil​
1-2 cloves of garlic​

touch of fresh lemon juice​
water to your liking of texture​
sea salt to taste​
pepper to taste​


Drain and rinse organic black beans.​
Put rinsed beans into a food processor​
add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, a little water and blend. Add more water to desired consistency. Add sea salt and pepper toward end of mixing.​

If this recipe is too bland for you or you want to spice it up you can add: onion, basil, spices, red pepper, or sundried tomato.  This goes great with rice crackers or spread on rice cakes.​
